Mini Mayhem boys clothes

Technology & the mumprenuer

We are having a well deserved break this week. Mr Mini Mayhem has been working especially hard this year and the promise of a week at the beach has probably been the only thing that has kept him relatively sane while dealing with some slightly less than clever people over the past few months.

So we find ourselves at Peregian Beach, or p-ridge as it has become to us. P-ridge is my happy place. Unspoilt surf beach, laid back Eco happy community, good markets, great juices and awesome muesli and yoghurt!! Our little guy has spent the past few days scootering around barefoot (but helmeted!) from our place to the beach. Our little girl has had a great time playing in the sand and the water (& eating a bit of both). We, the parents have found ourselves über relaxed in the evenings having a few bevvies, and listening to some great tunes and the sounds of the surf. We've even had some friends up on the weekend to share our p-ridge bliss.

In short it has been fabulous and we aren't done yet. But the amazing thing is how I'm still able to feel connected while also feeling a millions miles away. Just the ability to check emails, lodge market applications, pay listing fees and get end of month results from the comfort of a sun lounger. It just makes it so easy to take a little break but not feel completely out of the loop. A good thing for a control freak such as myself.

Now if you will excuse me, there is a lunchtime cocktail downstairs with my name on it...
